Independent Candidate for President
Misteradiant:

The government will reduce regulation and bureaucracy in its public school system. "No child left behind" will be left behind. Teachers will be graded upon on how well their students perform, not by standardized exams.

All public schools will be on broadband internet connections by 2010. There will be no more than a 3 to 1 ratio of students per online computer by 2015.

The government will double the amount available in student grants and loans in 2007 and double that again in 2010. Preference will be given to science majors (engineering, computer, environment, physics, etc.) as 20% of all grants and loans will go to them.

The cost of the Iraq War:
One day at war in Iraq could cover the full cost of attendance for one year at a public college for more than 17,100 students.
(Average cost of tuition, room and board for a 4-year public institution is $11,354 per year.)
