Independent Candidate for President

In my vision of America, the land is safe to play upon, water is good to drink and the air is clear to breathe. As President, environmental issues will not become secondary to corporate demands. If they pollute, they are fined. If they endanger species, they cannot build. There is more than enough space within inner-city districts to build corporate headquarters, rather than out in the country on a gorgeous riverbed. Let them build a park next to their offices and better a community instead of plop one more hideous cement block out in nature.
The nation's Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will adopt stricter standards and fines for keeping our environment safe and secure for generations to come.
I am sure that planting hundreds of thousands of windmills in sparsely-populated areas will tick off some environmentalists. I understand. Remember, it is the future solvency of the United States that I am concerned with. It is the safety, the security and the standard of living of every citizen that I care about. Every tool a man creates for energy takes something away from the earth. It is a basic scientific principle, that "equal and opposite reaction" every grade school student learns. I believe that my vision of America as the world leader in biofuel production and technology will supercede any negative environmental impact that windmills in the desert or out at sea will have. That option has to be a infinitely better than offshore oil rigs and a bankrupt country.
Regarding the development of the biofuel industry I keep pushing as the main thrust of my campaign, I will state that America will no longer need to drill for oil in wildlife preserves.
Biodiesel Facts:
+ The exhaust emissions of carbon monoxide from biodiesel are 47% lower than carbon monoxide emissions from regular diesel.
+ Biodiesel reduces the health risks associated with petroleum diesel. Biodiesel emissions showed decreased levels of cancer causing compounds.
+ In a period of 28 days, pure biodiesel degrades 85% to 88% in water.
+ Any COČ released from burning hemp as fuel matches the COČ the plant had beneficially taken from the environment while growing, creating what is called a closed carbon cycle (The COČ released into the atmosphere when biodiesel is burned is recycled by growing plants, which are later processed into fuel, which starts the cycle over). Biodiesel will slow down the effects of global warming.
+ Biodiesel emissions have decreased levels of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH), cancer causing compounds. Test results indicate PAH compounds were reduced by 75% to 85% in biodiesel vs. regular diesel emissions.
+ Biodiesel has zero sulfur emissions.
+ The exhaust emissions of total hydrocarbons (contributing factors in causing smog and ozone) are 93% lower for biodiesel and diesel.
+ Biodiesel is non-toxic. Table salt is nearly 10 times more toxic.
I will make it mandatory that all government vehicles with diesel motors run them on biodiesel only, beginning in the year I take office as your President. That act alone will spur incredible advances toward making America the worlds #1 supplier of biofuels.
